OBSTA cold neon discharge obstruction light
Cold neon discharge light balisor and obsta lamps can reach much more than 10 years lifetime. The lifetime of the lamp is usually limited by the transformer or the electronic converter.
Both obsta xenon and cold neon discharge are 100% hard glass (no plastic) and unsensititive to high temperature.

Theoretically at 20°C, LED lifetime can be as long as 100 000 hours (about 11 years). In reality, lifetime and luminous output of LEDs depends on many conditions that includes ambient temperature and current inside leds. The LED OBSTA NAVILITE series includes 64 or 192 leds in active redundancy.
